Won’t I get more damage to my property with short-term rental guests?

Screening guests and knowing their identity actually minimised the risk of property damage. Many guests only stay at night putting less wear on your furniture and fixtures. And your property is professionally cleaned and inspected after each guest has stayed. You don’t get that with long-term tenancy agreements.

Can I stay in my property when I want?

Yes you can reserve time to stay in your property. Some owners only rent out their property when they travel overseas. Others have holiday apartments or houses that they only stay in occasionally.

My property is located in a strata block. Is this OK for short-term rental?

Are there additional costs?

The initial cleaning and linen set up is an additional cost of $70 for one bedroom and bathroom. This increases depending on the number of bedrooms.

Is money taken from rental income received?

Yes. All services are charged from rent received and documented.

Who pays for rates, body corporate fees and property repairs and maintenance?

The property owner pays for these items.
